Join Susana Arenas Pedroso’s Arenas Cuba on a cultural immersion tour to Havana, Cuba. This program provides multiple opportunities to experience life in Cuba and learn at the source of Afro-Cuban dance, music and culture. There will be 5 days of Afro-Cuban Folkloric and Popular Dancing (live drumming/Approx. 25 Hours) with Cuba’s internationally-known master instructors. Meet many of Havana’s most active spiritual leaders, visual artists, thinkers, performing artists, and educators. We will have opportunities to attend music/dance concerts, salsa clubs, and participate in culturally-vibrant experiences. Additionally, participants will have plenty of free time to enjoy the city!
Arenas Cuba has roots and personal relationships with the artistic and spiritual communities in Havana and is committed to providing a unique opportunity to experience the richness of Afro-Cuban culture. The trip includes accommodations at casa particulares and/or hotels, all dance classes/related activities, some ground transportation, welcome and farewell dinner, and daily breakfasts.
